AS TIME GOES BY
AS TIME GOES BY is a personal photographic project that tries to immortalize the rust and its effect on materials The main theme of this work is the transition from natural to artificial and vice versa. It starts from where the human work replaces the environment, to end up with the nature that takes possession of its own spaces by recreating drawings, shapes and lines that recall the idea of landscapes. Investigate changes and mutations that time, action of oxygen and water (natural elements) imprint on the human materials, used to build civilization, is the main theme of the project. Photos are made through the isolation of particular metal fragments, portrayed under full light, in order to highlight textures, colors, shapes and lines that clearly recall the most classic natural marine, alpine, or volcanic landscapes, in order to remind us that we are one and the same with nature, for this reason, only together and with respect we can live in this beautiful world.
